Abstract Art Classes
These classes will immerse your imagination in the world of abstract landscape painting. The course encourages experimentation, risk-taking, spontaneity and expression. You'll explore various approaches to abstraction as you develop your own artistic voice through the work you produce. All classes are suitable for total beginners to intermediate level.
Art materials and source materials are given (although do bring your own too!), fun and stimulating group exercises and demonstrations, one-to-one tuition are all provided over the six weeks.
Visual resources will be available to the students over the six weeks along with art books and art magazines. Follow on notes will also be provided.

Abstract Painting -
Morning Classes in Cloughjordan - six weeks
Friday mornings 10.30am -12pm starting Friday 16th September 2016
In this class we will explore a variety of mark-making techniques with an emphasis on finding what works for you as an artist. I will demonstrate drawing and painting intuitively. I will also share with you a few of my favourite abstract landscape painters and help you understand some of the concepts behind non-representational painting.
We will work on very small scale painting exercises to loosing up moving up to larger scale work. You will by the end of the six weeks have a portfolio of small drawings and paintings and a large scale painting.
Acrylic paint, palette knives and paper will be provided and are included in the price. Feel free to bring what ever art materials you are used to working with, particulary brushes!

Individual Art Classes
Increasingly more people are asking for individual tuition in specific areas they would like to work on, like working on a personal painting, producing a journal of work for a loved one or focusing on a partiular area of discovery.
If you would like an Individual Art Session, contact me by phone or by email. Generally sessions last 1.5 to 2 hrs and all painting materials are provided.
