My practice is primarily about working with acrylic and mixed media on canvas and board, adding on and washing off media. My work looks to the hedgerows and trees, the interwoven pattern of roots, branches, weeds and fungal networks provide a foundation to explore lyrical motifs and fluidity of line, creating visceral and emotive responses.
I ebb and flow between an expressionist and abstracted response to a more figurative digging into the canvas to reveal the loose memory of what is lost or that what is taken for granted.
